At Red Bird Music School we provide a variety of opportunities to learn to play music. From private lessons to group programs, our mission is to make learning enjoyable and fun while also gaining a sense of mastery. Lessons are open to kids and adults alike and we firmly believe that it is never too late to start.

We offer lessons for piano, guitar, violin, bass, drums, voice, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, trumpet, music theory, songwriting, and fiddle.

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Red Bird offers private and semi-private lessons, in 30 minute and 60 minute formats. Our most popular lesson type is 30 minute private lessons.

If you are interested in group programming, you can find more information in the Group Programs pages under the Music School tab at the top of this page.

Private lessons are one-on-one time with an instructor on a weekly basis. Semi-private lessons provide instruction to two students at once, and are perfect for a pair of siblings, friends, or partners who want to learn an instrument together, at the same pace.

NEW STUDENTS

New students must book a Starter Pack of lessons. This is a pack of 4 lessons, which from our experience, is the ideal amount of time for a student and their new teacher to get to know each other and set goals for learning. At the end of the Starter Pack, students have the option to continue lessons with the same teacher, or try a new instrument or student/teacher pairing.
