At Red Bird Music School we provide a variety of opportunities to learn to play music. Our mission is to make the process enjoyable and fun while also gaining a sense of mastery. Lessons are open to kids and adults alike and we firmly believe that it is never too late to start.
Our most popular offerings are private and semi-private lesson packages. If you are interested in group programming, you can find more information in our Group Programs section under the Music School tab at the top of this page.
Private lessons are 30 minutes of one-on-one time with an instructor on a weekly basis. Semi-private lessons, which provide instruction to two students at once, are perfect for a pair of siblings, friends, or partners who want to learn an instrument together, at the same pace. We also offer 60 minute lessons in both formats.
A minimum commitment of 4 lessons is required. From our perspective, this is the ideal amount of time required for a student and their new teacher to develop a rapport, and set goals for learning.
We offer lessons for piano, guitar, violin, cello, bass, drums, voice, ukulele, mandolin, clawhammer banjo, trumpet, music theory, songwriting, and fiddle.
